A Chimera Tool license gives you access to use Chimera software and its supported features. Chimera credits are internal balance used for paid procedures inside Chimera. Credits can also be used to buy or extend Chimera activation inside the Chimera ecosystem.
A Chimera Tool license is the main activation that allows you to use the software. Without an active license, you cannot use Chimera as a professional servicing tool. The license level defines your access, limits and available benefits depending on the selected package.
Chimera credits are the internal balance of Chimera Tool. They are used to pay for selected paid procedures inside the software. If a procedure requires credits, Chimera will show the required credit amount before the operation.
Some procedures inside Chimera are paid and require credits. These may include selected server-side operations, special unlock procedures, advanced service operations or other paid functions depending on the device, model, firmware, security patch and procedure type.
Chimera credits are not only for paid procedures. They can also be used to buy, renew or extend Chimera Tool activation inside the Chimera ecosystem. This means credits can work as a flexible balance for both service operations and license activation.
Credits and license are not the same thing. Credits do not automatically give full access to Chimera Tool. A license is the activation that gives access to the software, while credits are balance for paid operations or activation purchase.
You need a Chimera Tool license when you want to use Chimera software for regular GSM service work. This includes Samsung, Xiaomi, Qualcomm, MTK, FRP, firmware, repair and service procedures supported by your license type.
You need Chimera credits when the procedure you want to perform is marked as a paid operation inside Chimera. You may also need credits if you want to buy or renew Chimera activation using credits instead of direct payment.
Example: if you already have an active Chimera license and you start a procedure that requires credits, Chimera will ask for the required credit amount. If you do not have an active license, you may use credits to buy or extend activation first, depending on the available options in your Chimera account.
Many new users confuse Chimera license and credits. They may buy credits thinking credits alone activate all features, or they may buy a license and later discover that some specific procedures require credits. The correct understanding is simple: license gives access, credits pay for selected paid procedures or activation purchase.
Before buying credits, check whether your required Chimera procedure actually requires credits. Also check your device model, brand, firmware, security patch, BIT version and procedure availability. This helps avoid buying credits for a procedure that is not supported on your device.
Before buying a Chimera license, choose the package that matches your work volume. Basic is better for low-volume use, Professional is usually best for active repair shops, and Premium is better for high-volume service centers.
For most repair shops, the best setup is an active Chimera license plus enough credits for paid procedures. This allows technicians to use Chimera daily and also complete credit-based services without delays.
Chimera Tool license and credits are different. A license activates access to Chimera software. Credits are internal balance used for paid procedures inside Chimera and can also be used to buy or renew Chimera activation. For regular work, technicians usually need a license, and for selected paid operations they also need credits.
